New to the whole thing....HELP

Ok I have seen all the posts and heard tons on the game, so I went out bought it installed it....now where do I go from here...I find it hard to think the blizzard server is the only one to use....help a newby please!

Blizzard has around 100 servers to choose from. Base your choice on your preferred style of play, the timezone the server uses and how full it is. Even though I'm an East coast person, I prefer Pacific time zone servers which allow me to see some daylight in Azeroth even though I only play at night. I also prefer non-Player vs Player servers (PvE) since I like to do my own thing and not worry about getting ambushed (ganked) by other players. There are also Roleplaying servers if you get into that kind of thing. Finally, I generally look for a MEDIUM filled server. Not too crowded, but enough people to feel "alive" with a good selection of stuff in the auction house.

But the bottom line is... Do what works for you. Try different servers. You could have characters (toons) on every one of them if you want.
